David D. Friedman

David Friedman is a professor of law and economics at Santa Clara University. The son of Nobel laureate Milton Friedman, he is the author of PRICE THEORY, which is considered the discipline's primer on the subject, THE MACHINERY OF FREEDOM: Guide to a Radical Capitalism and HIDDEN ORDER: The Economics of Everyday Life. He earned his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Chicago.
