James H. Mann

Jim Mann is widely viewed as the "leading China hand in the Washington press corps." The author of two books, he was Beijing bureau chief for The Los Angeles Times and is now a diplomatic correspondent and foreign affairs columnist for its Washington bureau. His work ABOUT FACE was published by Knopf in 1999 and is the basis of a multipart BBC documentary.
