Michael B. Oren
A Senior Fellow at the Shalem Center in Jerusalem, Michael Oren has published numerous articles and essays on the subject of Middle Eastern history. Educated at Columbia (B.A., 1977; M.I.A., School of International Affairs, 1978) and Princeton University (M.A., Ph.D., History of the Middle East), he is an officer and war veteran of the Israel Defense Forces and former advisor to the government of Yitzhak Rabin and to Israel's delegation to the United Nations. A recent visiting lecturer at Harvard and Yale in Middle East history, he writes for the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and The New Republic.
