Allan J. Lichtman

Allan Lichtman was educated at Brandeis and Harvard Universities. He is professor and chair of the Department of History at American University in Washington, DC, and the author of several books, including THE THIRTEEN KEYS TO THE PRESIDENCY and THE KEYS TO THE WHITE HOUSE. He is also a regular commentator for NBC. His more than 100 scholarly articles have appeared in publications ranging from New Republic to the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences to The New York Times.
