Jean Bethke Elshtain
Jean Bethke Elshtain (January 6, 1941 – August 11, 2013) was the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Professor of Social and Political Ethics at the University of Chicago. She has written 21 books, including PUBLIC MAN, PRIVATE WOMAN: Women in Social and Political Thought and AUGUSTINE AND THE LIMITS OF POLITICS, as well as more than 600 articles and essays for popular and political journals.
