Paul Lettow

Paul Lettow

Paul Lettow is currently a Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. He served on the National Security Council staff at the White House as the Senior Director for Strategic Planning from 2007 to 2009, where he prepared presidential national security policy directives and coordinated the interagency National Security Policy Planning Committee. He also worked at the State Department. Before joining AEI, he practiced law for almost fifteen years in Washington, D.C. In addition to Ronald Reagan and His Quest to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, he is the author of numerous articles, reports, and book chapters. He received an A.B. in history, summa cum laude, from Princeton University, a D.Phil. in international relations from Oxford University, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
