Wendy Salinger
Wendy Salinger is Coordinator of the Literary Outreach program at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. She is an accomplished writer whose fiction and poetry have been published in The Kenyon Review, The Paris Review, The New Yorker, Ploughshares and other publications. She is the author of FOLLY RIVER, a collection of poems, and the editor RICHARD WILBUR'S CREATION, a collection of essays, and has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship and a National Poetry Series award for her poetry. Before joining the Y in 1987, Ms. Salinger was a lecturer in English at Columbia University's School of General Studies, a visiting professor at Sarah Lawrence College, and the artist-in-residence at the Teachers & Writers Collaborative in New York. She has a M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Iowa and a B.A. in English from Duke University.
