W. Michael Cox and Richard Alm

W. Michael Cox is director of the William J. O’Neil Center for Global Markets and Freedom at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. Former chief economist at the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas, he is also adjunct scholar at the CATO Institute, and vice president of the Association of Private Enterprise Education. He also is a frequent guest on Voice of America and National Public Radio and has written for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications.

Richard Alm received his master's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas. Currently a business reporter with the Dallas Morning News, he has also worked for U.S. News and World Report and the Arizona Republic.
