Kip Wilcox and Lisa Cowden
Kip Wilcox is a graduate of Syracuse University and dessert chef at the acclaimed Moosewood restaurant in Ithaca, New York. Aside from her twelve years in the restaurant business, she teaches English to refugees, immigrants, and international students, from whom she learns about different ethnic cuisine. This is Ms. Wilcox's first book.
Lisa Cowden has cooked in the Moosewood Restaurant, a vegetarian restaurant in Ithaca, New York, raised goats, and taught at a Montessori school. She studied studio art as an undergraduate at the University of California at Berkeley and received her M.F.A. in surface pattern design at Syracuse University. She has worked as a freelance designer of dinnerware patterns for Corning, Inc., and her illustrations have appeared in The New York Times
